Jake has specialized in working with public entities and transportation motor carriers for more than a decade. He has served as agent of record for numerous school districts, cities, utilities, tribal casinos and other entities.

With two children in public school, he has dedicated his focus to school safety and has trained with State officials and the FBI to become an ALiCE-certified instructor for active shooter response and preparedness. He has conducted numerous onsite public entity inspections that have led to safer campuses as well as providing a reduction in OSHA-related violations. He is also a Certified School Risk Manager.

With a background in the trucking industry, Jake also brings a rare perspective to his trucking clients, having been on both the insurance as well as the motor carrier side.

He is a 3x published children’s book author and has twice had features written about him in Insurance Business America Magazine. In his spare time, he coaches his son and daughter’s travel softball and baseball teams and is a massive Oregon Duck fan and Revolutionary War buff.
